The Mississippi, Around Town

  • Slow/Leisurely
  • 40 Miles
  • Top Speed: 30 MPH
  • Start from Scooterville at 11:00 AM
  • Lunch plus at least 2 stops

Great option for 50cc or less experienced riders.  We leave Scooterville and head toward the river.  Then north on the parkway, through Camden to a park along the west bank.  It’s a little back tracking to Camden to cross the river and head south.  We’ll take time to do the Nicollet Island loop then continue south on the parkway. St. Clair off the parkway will take us to the High Bridge with a stop.  We’ll follow an old cart trail down the river bank, cross the river on Wabasha, take Kellogg to the “secret route” up the hill side. Another stop for a break and great pictures of the river and St. Paul. And yes, another old trail up off the river.  Then comes the great decision: Snelling or Grand to Sweeney's Saloon.
