The Mississippi, Around Town

  • Slow/Leisurely
  • 40 Miles
  • Top Speed: 30 MPH
  • Start from Scooterville at 11:00 AM
  • Lunch plus at least 2 stops

Great option for 50cc or less experienced riders.  We leave Scooterville and head toward the river.  Then north on the parkway, through Camden to a park along the west bank.  It’s a little back tracking to Camden to cross the river and head south.  We’ll take time to do the Nicollet Island loop then continue south on the parkway. St. Clair off the parkway will take us to the High Bridge with a stop.  We’ll follow an old cart trail down the river bank, cross the river on Wabasha, take Kellogg to the “secret route” up the hill side. Another stop for a break and great pictures of the river and St. Paul. And yes, another old trail up off the river.  Then comes the great decision: Snelling or Grand to Memory Lanes.

Lake Minnetonka Run

  • Slow/Moderate
  • 90 miles
  • Top speed of 40-45 mph (approx. 5 total miles at top speed)
  • Start at Lyndale Farmstead Park in Minneapolis at 10:00am
  • Lunch stop (Minnetonka Drive In) plus at least 2 additional rest stops

This is a 50cc friendly ride.  This ride heads north along the chain of lakes before traveling west to Excelsior via St. Louis Park and Minnetonka.  From there we will pass through Tonka Bay, Navarre and a series of islands before we stop for lunch at the classic Minnetonka Drive In.  After lunch it’s more riding through Mound, Victoria, Chanhassen, Eden Prairie, Edina and on to Memory Lanes.

Stillwater Run Saturday

  • 80 miles
  • Top speed of 45mph
  • Different route after lunch at slower speeds than Friday
  • Start is Finnish Bistro Coffee and Cafe on Como
  • Lunch stop Stillwater (multiple options) plus one additional stop

Starting at the Finnish Bistro Coffee and Cafe on Como Avenue in St Paul, we wind our way through the north Metro to Stillwater. Enjoy lunch (on your own) and visit the beautiful St Croix riverfront. On Saturday we take a slower route back, making an extra stop in White Bear Lake before heading to Memory Lanes.

The Cheddar Run

  • Very Fast (200cc scooter or larger)
  • 165 Miles
  • Top speed: 60mph
  • Starts at JS Bean Factory in St. Paul at 10:30am
  • Lunch stop in Osceola (multiple options) plus two more stops

This is a long fast ride designed for the experienced rider and larger scooters (200cc +).  After leaving JS Bean Factory we’ll weave through the St. Paul suburbs to White Bear Lake.  From there we head to toward Stillwater and north on  MN 95 to Taylors Falls.  We’ll cross into Wisconsin and take WI 8 south to Osceola WI for lunch (on your own).  The town features several bars and cafes to choose from for a bite to eat.  After lunch we continue South to Prescott WI and cross back into MN going north on the St. Croix Scenic Byway to Bayport when we start heading West to Memory Lanes.
